Whether it be a 21st, Christmas party, milestone, birthday, launch, corporate event, wedding reception, social gathering we have the place for you. We have a variety of bar account options available, Subsidised tab, Bar tab and Cash bar. Join the Oxford club to recieve discounts on all drinks purchased including spirits, cocktails, beer & wine.
Our catering & food options provide you with a wide selection of meals, whether you're looking for casual drinks & nibbles or a seated meals with a set menu.
Have a special request? We can organise bubbles on entry, customised cocktails, and uniquely dressed tables for your event.

Right behind The Bealey is All Stars Accomodation, from backpackers to new motel units with great rates when you have a function with us.
We have many welcoming spaces available, ample free parking, courtesy vans for rides home/into town (free of charge). We also offer a service to drive you and your car homefree of charge (approx 7km radius).

Join our loyalty club by downloading the app or signing up at The Oxford group to receive discounts on all beverages and benefit from all of the purchases on the night of your function by accumulating points which can be spent at any of our venues.
Venue & Room Set-up
Drinks & Nibbles
For up to 120 guests, we can arrange the Function Room to cocktail style. This includes some lower tables for seating, bar leaners and areas for standing.
The boardroom style is great for corporate events of up to 30 people. The projector screen and whiteboard can be set up, if required.
For up to 80 guests we can set the Function Room to a large group breakfast, lunch or dinner booking with our delicious menus.
For prize givings, awards, speeches, presentations or anything else you can think of, we can arrange the Function Room to a theatre style. Up to 50 guests can set in rows toward our projector screen.
You are welcome to bring your own decorations and branding for your function. Please no confetti, glue or nail guns! Also, please be aware that Bealey's takes no responsibility for any loss of or damage to property brought onto the premises.
We can reserve an area in the bar for up to 50 people. Here you are welcome to enjoy cocktail platters and our bar snack menu. Enjoy the three 55-inch TV’s screening a range of sport with easy access to our outdoor patio. There is no minimum spend for this space.
Our restaurant can take bookings up to 25 people dining a la carte and up to 40 people when dining on a set menu. Our restaurant does not require a minimum spend.
Catering, food & the bar
Our kitchen has carefully designed a function Food Menu for you to pick, at ease, what you would like during your time with us.
As our food options change seasonally, please contact the Functions Manager for our current options. We can happily accommodate all food requirements/allergies/intolerances and can provide vegan options on request.
All food orders must be confirmed at least 10 days prior to the date of your function.
We supply a wide range of New Zealand and International wines, tap and bottled beers, cocktails, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. Please contact us for our current beverage list. With bar accounts there are a variety of options:
Another option is to subsidise drinks. You can specify the amount you wish to pay per beverage. This will be charged to your account and the remaining value will be charged to your guest. Again, you can specify the range of drinks.
As the organiser of the function/account holder, you can specify the range of beverages available on the bar and a limit can be established. Guests can then put drinks onto this account. Once this amount is reached, our staff will notify you. You can add further funds to the account, or your guests can then pay for them individually.
Guests can pick and choose from our full beverage selection and pay individually. Please note that all beverage pricing includes GST.
With the private bar, you are welcome to run a tab or subsidise your drinks or do a cash bar (you cannot BYO drink or food).
Meetings in the day have a fee of $25/hour until 5pm. If $300 or more is spent on catering, the room charge will be waived.
Our maximum capacity is 80pax seated and 110pax for drinks & nibbles. For dinners you may have other diners in the room unless booked exclusively.

The Bealey is located on the outskirts of the CBD, we are open seven days a week from 7am to 11pm (open until 1am* upon request).

*On request, we are able to apply to the council for a late licence until 12am or 1am. This costs $68.70, requires 20 working days notice and will be charged to the host of the function. These are usually issued without any problems but there is no guarantee the council will issue the licence. The money will not be refunded if the licence gets declined.
